I&#8217;m back from Malawi&#8230; what a stunning country!  But most of you don&#8217;t follow this blog to read my comments, so let me show you what I mean&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Lake Malawi:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/uploads\/2007\/12\/malawi-022-2.jpg\" alt=\"malawi-022-2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Fishers of Men&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/uploads\/2007\/12\/malawi-059.jpg\" alt=\"malawi-059.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Yes, he is milking a cow into a Coke bottle, on the beach. Strange?  Have you considered where your milk comes from?<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/uploads\/2007\/12\/malawi-074-2.jpg\" alt=\"malawi-074-2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mending his nets before going out for the night:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/uploads\/2007\/12\/malawi-077-2.jpg\" alt=\"malawi-077-2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the beach, you can also buy <em>usipa, <\/em>these tiny sun-dried fish.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/uploads\/2007\/12\/malawi-090-2.jpg\" alt=\"malawi-090-2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Usipa<\/em> can be eaten dry, or reconstituted as part of a bigger meal:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/uploads\/2007\/12\/malawi-092-2.jpg\" alt=\"malawi-092-2.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/uploads\/2007\/12\/malawi-093-2.jpg\" alt=\"malawi-093-2.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/uploads\/2007\/12\/malawi-101-2.jpg\" alt=\"malawi-101-2.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/uploads\/2007\/12\/malawi-138-2.jpg\" alt=\"malawi-138-2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Malawi&#8217;s most popular fish is <em>chombo<\/em>.
