The reason
I named it PsalmEight in the first place is that
Psalm 8:3-4 describes much of my motivation in
photography. Heaven and earth really are the work
of God, and they reflect such beauty that it never
fails to humble (and marvel) me. That attitude
stays with me no matter what my website is titled.

This site
replaces my previous travel photography site:
PsalmEight.com.
I built PsalmEight from scratch while I lived in Africa. I spent about an hour a night for 5 months learning PHP, HTML, and MySQL to make exactly the site I wanted. But it was never without its problems. For one, updating it was like painting a few more figures into the Sistine Chapel... possible, but perilous. Another weakness of PsalmEight.com: people often thought I said "SoulMate.com." If you wondered why my photos were featured on an online dating service... I apologize for the confusion.
