While I was in Australia for the wedding last month, I had the privilege to travel around a bit and see the country. I’ve decided that I love Queensland! Here are a few glimpses at the scenery… enjoy!
That was the hiking trail…
The Sunshine Coast was anything but…
Downtown Brissy:
These are part of a series of pinnacles making up the Glasshouse Mountains. With a little imagination, you can picture that the spires are corners between colossal glass walls…
The rainbow was a welcome surprise as I was shooting the skyline…
I’m off to do another international wedding, this time in Brisbane, Australia! My friend Liz from Australia and my friend Lyle from South Africa had a crazy idea: why not fly me down under to photograph their wedding? Well, they certainly know how to persuade me… I leave the day after Christmas.
If you urgently need to get in touch with me or would like me to bring back a kookaburra, you can always reach me by email. Otherwise, I’ll be back in early January, with all kinds of fun photos and stories from the other side of the world!
And no matter where you’re going to be spending yours, have a most merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
On my way home from Malawi, I got stranded in Ethiopia for a day. There are a few things I would have done differently if I were to do it again: 1. I’d bring Rachel, 2. I wouldn’t eat the onion salad, and 3. I would have brought Lonely Planet with me. But overall, it was pretty incredible, even for a day, and now I have a better idea of what to do if I go again.
The Haile Selassie Church:
I had to ask this gentleman’s boss for permission to shoot his portrait. Completely worth it.
