You may remember Bryan & Ashley from their engagement photos last month. Their wedding was just a couple weeks later, and was awesome! It looked like it was going to be a hot SoCal day, but there was a good breeze and huge trees, and it was a great day to be outside. Wanna see? Check out the highlights below, or view the full gallery here!
Ashley peeking for a glimpse of her groom…
One of the first things I noticed when I met Bryan and Ashley to learn about their wedding was Ashley’s bright blue eyes. I captured the color of them here, but the sparkle in them – that was all Bryan’s doing.
You can probably guess whose idea this was…
A tribute to the ladybug engagement photo…
All the young girls loved the horses in the back yard…
Some advice to the couple from Ashley’s dad.
Aren’t these trees awesome?!?
Bryan and Ashley, thanks so much for choosing me as your photographer. You were exceptionally easy to work with, and it was a blessing to be a part of your wedding. Have an awesome move to Jackson Hole this summer!
Yes, blog fans, you’re counting correctly: this is certainly the most photos I’ve put into one post. But there were sooo many good shots from Matt & Jaymee’s wedding, it was impossible to narrow it down any more! Matt and his groomsmen were sharp, Jaymee and the girls looked stunning, and the places they chose for their ceremony and reception were wonderfully lit. Which is why the collection of images below look like a commercial…wow!
My fav:
Matt had bought each groomsman cufflinks that reflected their personality… what a cool idea!
That’s a good way to put an eye out.
Guess who caught the garter?
No wait, this is my favorite…
Jaymee’s dad…
Matt & Jaymee, thanks for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding. Blessings!
A few weeks ago, I had the distinct privilege of shooting second camera with my friend Bill Blakey. Bill and I went to college together, and I shot his wedding back in 2006. Since then, he’s been growing into a quite talented photographer in his own right, and if you need a photographer in the Corona area, check him out!
It’s been a while since I’ve shoot second camera, which is actually really fun, because you get to focus on fun candids and experiment a bit more…
This shot inspired by old Dick Tracy comics…
Bill, thanks for asking me to shoot with you; it was a treat. And Shawn & Laura, while Bill will be posting a much better collection of photos on his blog, if you read this… you guys were super relaxed, which makes our job so much easier, and the whole wedding that much more beautiful. Thanks for making it fun!
