The first thing you need to know about Mike and Tamar is that they lived on opposite sides of the country for a good portion of their relationship. As a result, when their wedding finally arrived, there is only one word to describe it: Celebration! I’ve never been to a wedding with more energy! Check it out.
A note from Mike’s parents…
Look at that smile…
A throwback to their engagement photos…
The church was so cool!
And then, the party began!
This is Tamar’s “don’t even think about it” look. 🙂
Mike and Tamar, thank you so much for letting me shoot your wedding! You were both so easy to work with, and your wedding was super cool! All the best to both of you as you settle in to your new life in RI.
Brian & Kristi’s wedding was two weekends ago, and it was a joy to shoot- simple, tender, and unpretentious. I usually come home from a wedding shoot feeling like I just ran a marathon. After theirs, I came home from this one feeling like I had simply gone as an observer. It was very refreshing!
I love the alternating colors!
The old “pretend you’ve got a squirt flower” gag… gets me every time.
How often do you find a door the same color as your eyes? I don’t know, but I wasn’t about to pass it up.
Yup, this is a throwback to Brian & Kristi’s engagement photos!
Brian & Kristi, thanks for choosing me as your photographer! It’s been fun to get to know both of you better, and see how clear it is that God made you for each other. I can’t wait to see where you go next!
So there we were at Panera Bread. Rick and Esther were telling me what they had planned for their wedding. I’ve known both of them for a few years, and I was struck by how them their wedding sounded.
When the big day actually came, it captured their approachability, joy, and genuineness even more than I imagined. I would like to think that if we had gotten married outside, we would have thought of croquet and badminton, but I know we wouldn’t have come up with horseshoes and kites. It was so fun!
My fav, hands down.
The goodie bags on everyone’s seat was a GREAT idea!
Esther was laughing more often than not.
Okay, so it was a little hot that day. But we resuscitated all of the wedding party before the reception… no problem.
Sam!
Rick and Esther, thanks a bazillion for letting me be part of your wedding day! I couldn’t ask for a couple that was easier to work with! And I know you’ve been waiting ANXIOUSLY to see these photos, so go ahead and check out the entire gallery here!
