Like the Kellers, the Gundersens also contributed in a big way to our wedding day. Cindi made an individual cake for each one of our guests. We didn’t learn until later that she recruited a whole team of people to help her pull it off. So, I offered to do some family photos for them as a small way of saying thanks.
The Gundersens adopted Judah from Uganda about a year and a half ago, and he’s grown so much since then. I’m convinced that he’s going to grow up to be an entertainer of some sort. He’s very perceptive of what makes people laugh, and knows just how to act to get everyone to smile. Which made this shoot a lot of fun.
Judah wanted to drive the train… to Oklahoma.
King of the rock!
I love this one.
Every hole we passed was just screaming for Judah to throw rocks into it.
Judah was singing “King of New York” from Newsies. I couldn’t believe he knew all the words…
Gunner, Cindi, and Judah, thanks for being involved in our wedding and our lives! We’ve loved going through life together with you, and look forward to seeing where God uses you in the future!
I first got to know the Terrell family at our first photo shoot earlier this year. They’re so great! So I seriously jumped at the chance to do another shoot for them.
Just to forewarn anyone who may be reading my blog in the library or at work, these pictures made me laugh out loud many times! Scroll down at your own risk. 🙂
This is a pretty good representation of everyone’s personalities…
A ride on Aslan.
Luke Skywalker kept the trash compactor from closing…
Feed my sheep..
The lollipops were a big hit…
Jeff is rad.
Merry Christmas, Terrell family! I enjoyed getting to spend time with you guys so much. Thanks for everything!
How do we thank someone for helping make your wedding day that much better? That’s the question Rachel and I pondered as we tried to think of a way to thank Joe for being the MC and Sam for being our ringbearer at our wedding, exactly nine months ago today.
While it certainly was a small token in exchange for all the Kellers have done for us over the years, we offered them a family photo session at a later date. And they took me up on it just in time for Christmas cards.
Meet the Keller family!
(No, really, they’re not just models we hired…)
Yep, you counted right. That’s 3 boys. But they sure are fun…
My brilliant wife came up with the idea of buying point-and-shoot cameras for Sam and Noah. It was a fun experiment to see what they took pictures of.
After about 10 photos of the same duck, it was time to take one of mom and dad.
I’m pretty sure mine didn’t turn out nearly as cute as Sam’s.
Kellers, thanks for taking an interest in our lives. You’ve been a big encouragement to both Rachel and me. We’re grateful for your involvement in our wedding, and so much more!
